FiveM Advanced Pause Menu — Live Admin CMS Edition

The last pause menu your server will ever need. QBCore • QBox • ESX

Stop editing config files and restarting your server every time a rule changes. This is a complete ESC menu replacement where your staff manages everything from inside the game — and every change appears instantly on every player's screen.

A pause menu your players will actually open

Your character's real face on an ID card — captured live with FiveM's pedheadshot tech every time the menu opens. Name, job, gang, cash, bank and total playtime, all in an always-visible identity panel beside a bento-grid dashboard: interactive map tile, live server status with player count, uptime and a restart countdown, the next upcoming event, and a scrolling MOTD ticker. A cinematic side camera frames your character next to the menu with a tablet-reading animation — or switch to a clean centered layout with one toggle.

The Admin CMS — edit your server in your server

This is what no other pause menu does. Staff with permission get a full management panel inside the menu:

  • Server Info — Changelog, Rules, Staff, Updates, Events, Discord, Store and Roadmap sections. Add, edit, delete entries with rich text, images and links. Stored in the database, not in files.
  • World Calendar — create events with categories, start/end times, images and map positions. One click on "Use my position" attaches your current location; players press "Set GPS" and get a waypoint.
  • Custom Pages builder — build unlimited guide pages from blocks: headings, rich text, quotes, images, buttons and clickable GPS points — with a live preview beside the editor while you type. Newcomer guides, job guides, housing rules — all in-game, all instant.
  • MOTD, dashboard layout and keybind reference — including a visual 3D keyboard editor: click a key, type a label, done.
  • Live config overrides — flip the cinematic camera, animation, store and Discord links, restart schedule and player customization locks at runtime. No restart. Ever.

Every edit pushes to all online players the moment you save.

 Broadcasts that reach everyone

Send info, warning or event banners to every player on the server — animated, timed, and visible even to players who don't have the menu open. Restart in 15 minutes? Event starting at the pier? One box, one click.

 Three complete visual identities

Glass (frosted panels), Esports (angled cuts, accent stripes) and Minimal (flat, quiet hairlines) — every skin follows your accent color. Players pick their theme from your presets or a full HSV custom color picker, scale the UI from 80% to 130%, and set their sound volume. Don't want that? Lock any of it server-side and force your branding — live, from the admin panel.

8 languages out of the box

English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Romanian — complete translations, not machine snippets. Adding your own language is copying one file and translating it (translation files ship unencrypted).

Built like a server owner would build it

  • ACE permissions, per feature — give trial mods only broadcasts, event managers only the calendar, and keep config for admins:
    add_ace group.mod bw_pausemenu.broadcast allow — done.
  • Server-side verification on every single write. The UI's permission flags are cosmetic; the server re-checks the ACE before touching the database. Modified clients get nothing.
  • Audit log — who changed what and when, stored in the database, viewable in-game by master admins, optionally mirrored to a Discord webhook as embeds.
  • Playtime tracking — per character, saved into your framework's own player table with rotating auto-saves and a flush on resource stop.
  • Performance-minded — all menu content is served from an in-memory cache: opening the menu costs one server round trip and zero database queries.

? FAQ

Does it replace the native GTA pause menu?
Yes — ESC opens this menu instead. The native map and settings stay reachable through dedicated buttons.

Can I add my own nav buttons?
Yes — Config.CustomNav buttons can run commands, client/server events or open links (inventory, daily rewards, anything).

My server uses a renamed core / custom framework?
The framework bridge ships unencrypted so you can adapt the adapters.

Do admins need a framework admin group?
No — permissions are pure ACE, so they work identically on every framework and can't be spoofed by framework job changes.

Do content edits survive restarts?
Everything lives in MySQL. Config seeds fill the tables on first boot; after that the database is the single source of truth.

Updates?
Free updates through Tebex, changelog posted in Discord.
